You Deserve to Feel Like Yourself — Not Like Your Trauma

Tired of masking who you really are? Ready to embrace your authentic neuroqueer self? You've found the right place.

The Exhaustion of Hiding Your True Self

You wake up every day putting on a performance. Pretending to be neurotypical in a world that wasn't built for your brain. Hiding parts of your identity that feel too vulnerable to share.

Maybe you've been told you're "too sensitive" or "too intense." Perhaps you've learned to camouflage your stimming, suppress your authentic reactions or dim your true self just to fit in.

That constant code-switching is stealing your energy. The perpetual feeling of being "too much" or "not enough" is eroding your self-worth.

You're not broken. The world around you just wasn't designed for people like us.

My Approach: Body-Centered, Trauma-Informed, Identity-Affirming

I'm Mary Gooding-Call, a licensed mental health therapist specializing in neurodivergent therapy for LGBTQIA+ adults. As someone who is both neurodivergent and queer, I understand the unique challenges you face at this intersection.

In our work together, we won't try to "fix" what makes you unique. Instead, we'll celebrate your authenticity and help you heal from the trauma of living in a world that told you to hide.

What Therapy with Me Looks Like

  • A Safe Space to Be Yourself: No more performing. No more translating. Just you, exactly as you are, being witnessed and celebrated.

  • Individualized Approach: Your neurodivergence is unique. Your identity is unique. Your therapy will be too.

  • Practical Skills: We'll develop concrete strategies for navigating a neurotypical world while staying true to yourself.

  • Healing-Focused: We'll address the trauma while building resilience and self-compassion.

  • Strengths-Based: You're not broken. You're not a problem to be solved. You're a whole person with incredible gifts.
